Art 1: The intro art course that helps you find your art passion! I want to learn a little bit of everything, drawing, charcoal, colored pencils, painting, and sculpture.
Art 2: I love art and want to be even more creative and explore more media past Art 1! I want to work on a community art project. (Prerequisite: Art 1)
Digital Photo 1 (honors option): I want to learn how to use a camera and how to compose interesting photos using a camera and my phone. I can't wait to learn new techniques such as light painting and bokeh.
Intro to Sculpture: I want to create 3D objects and try a variety of media such as plaster, wire, mosaic, paper mache, and more!
Pre-AP Visual Art (honors): Intro to art course that prepares you for any AP course. Involves discussion and looking at art analytically. (an honors alternative to Art 1, GPA 4.5)
Mindfulness in Art: Beginner artists welcome! This course is about the process, not the product... experimental art! I enjoy the process of art making and discovering new ways to experience the world around me.
Ceramics 1: I like building functional and sculptural pieces with clay and learn surface techniques. I also want to try the pottery wheel.
Ceramics 2: I enjoyed Ceramics 1 and want to take my hand building and wheel throwing further with more complex forms and surface techniques. (Prerequisite: Ceramics 1)
